How do we share a vision? Why create "Portico"? These were some of the questions we asked at Vanguard Properties, at a time when it's increasingly challenging for organisations to share their values.
Creating a magazine wasn't the first thing that sprang to mind, but that's exactly why we decided to create "Portico": to use a medium that some consider outdated but do so using a different approach. Deep down, the idea of this magazine comes from our intrinsic desire to keep surprising. On this occasion, it's achieved via a communication tool that brings together the less tangible aspects of Vanguard Properties' world, while mirroring our vision and positioning. This ethos is supported by three cornerstones that have guided us from the very beginning: culture, art and sustainability.
Once again, we want to surprise by making this magazine a challenge for readers, who will find something new whenever they pick up a copy of "Portico". We want to surprise because we believe it's one of the secrets of sustainable success.
With this magazine, which is another example of our ability to create high-quality, authentic concepts with soul, we also aim to contribute to what should be a national goal: to promote and boost the value of the "Portugal brand" we're so proud of.
We are what we do. And Vanguard Properties reflects this belief. The hurdles we encounter inspire a burning desire for excellence as a habit rather than just an occasional act.
